Special Event: ACTING FOR LAWYERS
Saturday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Effective oral advocacy is one of the most important skills an attorney can possess. Skills like public speaking, confidence, connecting with one's audience, thinking on one's feet and juggling multiple tasks are critical. In this fun and interactive workshop led by Cold Tofu instructors and Advanced Team members, all participants will play "improv" games that focus on those skills. While every attorney has his or her natural style and mannerisms, this hands-on workshop strives to help participants think outside the box and get the "creative juices" flowing.
Cold Tofu is the nation's premiere Asian American comedy improv and sketch group. This non-profit organization is dedicated to promoting diverse images of Asian Pacific Americans through comedy and to developing multiethnic talent through education and performance. Come with an open mind and play with us!
SPACE IS LIMITED. This workshop will fill up quickly so register early!
